* Ongoing Full Time Position
* Location: Eveleigh with flexible work arrangements across NSW Department of Education Offices
* A talent pool may be created through this recruitment process to fill anticipated vacancies over the next 18 months
* Competitive remuneration ranging from $113,574 to $125,720 plus super & annual leave loading.

Join our dynamic ICT team and drive top-tier network performance across multiple sites (including after-hours on-call). Oversee daily administration, triage issues, escalate when needed, collaborate with partners, monitor and report via our network management system, and continuously expand your expertise across diverse hardware and software.

About you

* Experience in supporting data and voice network services and infrastructure in a complex environment
* Proven experience in network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
* Strong incident management and escalation skills
* Proficiency with network management systems and surveillance tools
* Excellent communication skills for user liaison and cross-functional collaboration
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide after-hours support as needed
* Detail-oriented with strong documentation practices and record-keeping
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

* Industry certification in relevant technologies or equivalent industry experience.
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Note: the selection process will include a range of assessment techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role. Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening for this role which includes a National Criminal History Check.

As a condition of employment, successful candidates not currently employed by the Department must provide a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance number. Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
