Finance Manager – Strategic Leadership Prospect
We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Finance Manager who will play a key role in leading financial operations and supporting executive decision-making.
Location: South Perth
Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer
Team Leadership: Oversight of a small finance team
About the Role
This is a broad and hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, while also providing strategic insights to senior stakeholders. The role includes managing relationships with external suppliers, auditors, and international entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and deliver accurate financial reports
- Drive budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including auditors and banks
- Oversee financial operations of international entities
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
- Provide commercial and strategic financial advice to senior leadership
Your Profile
- Proven experience in financial management, ideally within a mid-to-large organisation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a small team
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS)
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement
- Exposure to international financial operations is highly regarded
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP platforms)
