The Home and Location
Sandbrook, a 109-bed residential aged care facility located in Burleigh Waters. It is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast as well as several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a vast range of health and community services.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager you will provide leadership and supervision of the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping team and manage all compliance aspects of cleaning and laundry services.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and supervision of day-to-day housekeeping activities.
* Manage compliance of cleaning and laundry services in accordance with applicable standards.
Qualifications
* Previous experience within Aged Care / good knowledge of cleaning and laundry process in Residential Aged Care.
* Experience managing a housekeeping team.
* High level of verbal and written English communication skills.
* Professional, friendly and collaborative approach to all members of staff, residents and their families.
* CERT IV relevant to role.
