As an International & Domestic Travel Consultant, you will manage all aspects of group travel for incentive programs and corporate events, including building registration sites, coordinating flights, personalizing itineraries, and handling travel-related financial management.
Key Responsibilities
Registration Management
* Build and maintain event registration websites using EventsAir.
* Manage participant registration, data collection, and reporting.
* Provide customer support to travelers and troubleshoot registration issues.
Group Flight & Travel Coordination
* Manage group flight bookings and liaise with airlines for negotiated rates.
* Handle pre- and post-leisure travel arrangements for attendees.
* Ensure all travel policies, visa requirements, and compliance measures are met.
* Coordinate transportation, accommodations, and special requests.
Travel Management
* Handle small groups that do not require an on-site event manager, working with wholesalers, sports companies, hotels, airlines, and logistics providers.
* Ensure compliance with agency rules and regulations, including working with Sabre.
* Create, write, and customize detailed travel itineraries for events.
* Build and manage event travel apps to provide attendees with real-time updates.
* Track and manage travel budgets, invoices, and financial reporting.
* Reconcile travel expenses and liaise with the finance team and Travel and Events Director for accurate cost tracking.
* Generate reports for stakeholders on travel logistics, expenses, and participant data.
* Be available during occasional weekend travel support for delegates experiencing flight disruptions.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in travel coordination, event planning, or a related field.
* Experience in incentive travel or group bookings is a plus.
* Proficiency with EventsAir or similar registration platforms, Sabre travel booking systems, and event apps.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and supplier interactions.
* Problem‑solving ability to handle travel disruptions, last‑minute changes, and unexpected challenges with professionalism.
* Financial acumen, comfortable with budget tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting.
