Overview
The Data & Digital Support Officer plays a key role in supporting and maintaining CCQ's data, reporting and ICT functions. The role assists with data management and insights, dashboard and report development, project tracking, and the administration of digital platforms. This is an entry‐level development role into CCQ designed to build capability across business intelligence, data management and ICT service delivery within a primary healthcare setting. The role offers hands‐on experience and opportunities to develop skills in data analytics, digital systems and service support, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the maintenance and support of the organisation's data infrastructure, data products (data warehousing, data integrations, pipelines, dashboards etc.) and data assets aligned with contemporary standards and approaches, and contribute to their design and development.
* Collaborate with and support other directorates and teams to ensure their data and digital requirements are met, and assist with the ongoing development, validation, and maintenance of current and existing organisational dashboards and reports.
* Provide data and digital systems & application support, including identifying and resolving data and digital related issues in a timely manner to minimise disruptions.
* Support project tracking, scheduling and coordination.
* Contribute to the development of high‐quality written artefacts, including high‐level and detailed designs, technical specifications, processes, procedures, presentations and related documents.
* Comply with relevant cyber security, privacy and data handling obligations.
Key Selection Criteria
* A qualification (or progress toward one) in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent hands‐on experience.
* A basic understanding of how data works, including concepts like data modelling, databases, and data transformation.
* Some familiarity with tools and technologies such as Git, Microsoft Azure, SQL databases, or data visualisation tools like Power BI — and a willingness to learn more.
* Experience using project tracking or scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
* Motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently as well as learn from feedback.
* Solid communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and share information openly.
* Positive problem‐solving and analytical skills.
* (Desirable) Experience in the health sector or an understanding of Primary Health Networks.

* Salary benefits: An attractive remuneration package, including salary sacrifice packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, and up to $2,650 to pay for entertainment expenses such as meals and holidays.
