Job Title: Warehouse Operations Specialist
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. As a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming goods against invoices and purchase orders.
You will also be responsible for accurately sorting, labeling, and storing materials in designated locations to maximize space and efficiency. Additionally, you will pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. If you have previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment and are familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS), we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices and purchase orders
* Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated locations
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
* Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
* Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting and stock reconciliation activities
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
* Adhere to all Health, Safety Environmental policies and procedures
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
* Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and support career growth
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred
* Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
* Valid forklift license may be required
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
