Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)
Work Schedule: Rotating roster including weekend hours between 5am-11pm
Job Responsibilities:
1. Operate electric forklift and pallet jack to move pallets of merchandise on the sales floor.
2. Stack merchandise from partial to full pallets and secure with plastic wrap.
3. Ensure pallets meet Costco standards and meet safety inspections.
4. Assist with stocking merchandise, clearing debris, and verifying signage accuracy.
5. Provide courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.
6. Complete daily safety checks and maintain proper safety procedures.
7. Assist in creating merchandise drop lists and communicate with floor managers for priorities.
8. Operate and monitor equipment including battery chargers, shrink wrap machines, and safety tools.
9. Participate in stock rotation and department support as needed.
10. Ensure all safety and security standards are followed.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or higher.
* Current forklift license.
* Experience in merchandising or similar role.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
* Willingness to undertake department-specific training.
