What is Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA)?

Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is a national employment program led by Endeavour Foundation that empowers people with intellectual disability to prepare for, gain and sustain meaningful open employment. It focuses on person-centred support, employer engagement, and creating lasting inclusion in the workforce.

About the Role

As a Workplace Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in helping people with intellectual disability maintain sustainable employment by providing tailored post-placement support and partnering with employers to create inclusive, thriving workplaces.

You'll work closely with both job seekers and employers to design and deliver solutions that reduce turnover, improve retention, and support successful long-term employment outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

* Provide tailored, customer-focused support to job seekers and employers to ensure sustainable employment outcomes.
* Identify and implement interventions that reduce employment risks and enhance inclusion.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers through engagement, marketing activities, and community networking.
* Coordinate diversity training and customised employment solutions where needed.
* Monitor progress, document support activities, work within relevant contracts and guidelines, and meet key performance milestones.

What You'll Bring

* Experience supporting people with intellectual disability in employment, education, or community services, or a genuine interest in community support.
* Experience dealing with customers and building strong professional relationships.
* Ability to work independently while remaining open to learning new skills, systems, and ways of working.
* Commercial acumen and understanding of workforce planning and diversity initiatives.
* Experience in Employment Services is ideal; however, this can be trained for the right individual who is open to learning.

Role Details

* Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm
* You will be part of a team built on consistency, trust, and a holistic, regionally focused approach.
* Supporting customers living with intellectual disability to achieve sustainable and meaningful employment outcomes.
