The Role
We're seeking an enthusiastic and caring Allied Health Assistant (Speech Pathology) to join our growing team at Care Squared Kids. We are starting our hiring process now for a February 2026 start date
This is a community-based position, working under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to support the delivery of therapy programmes for children and families in their everyday environments – homes, schools, and local community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work under the direction of an Speech Pathologists to support assessments, interventions, and therapy delivery.
* Implement individualised therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising therapist.
* Engage positively with children, families, and carers to encourage participation and progress.
* Prepare resources, materials, and environments for therapy sessions.
* Maintain accurate notes, records, and communication with therapists and families.
* Travel within your local area to provide services in community settings.
* Uphold all clinical governance, safety, and quality standards in line with NDIS requirements.
About You
* Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Allied Health Assistance or currently studying Speech Pathology (or another relevant allied health discipline).
* Previous experience supporting Allied Health professionals or working with children (desirable).
* A genuine passion for helping children and families reach their goals.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Organised, flexible, and able to work independently while part of a supportive team.
* Valid Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) and relevant state or territory checks.
* Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
