About the role As the Fleet Management Coordinator, you will coordinate and oversee the daily work and activities of the Fleet Management Services team, ensuring consistent performance aligned with individual, team, and Council-wide Operational and Strategic Plans. You’ll be responsible for motivating staff to achieve high standards, building their capabilities through coaching and professional development, and creating a positive, accountable team culture. This position plays a pivotal role in leading Council’s transition to a fully electric fleet—managing implementation, engaging stakeholders, and overseeing service delivery to meet environmental and operational objectives. You will foster partnerships across Council, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and manage expectations through clear communication and high-quality customer service. By modelling excellence and integrity, you will actively contribute to solving problems, improving services, and ensuring that Council's fleet management supports long-term sustainability and innovation.
