**The Company**:
With over 20 years' experience, this tier 2 civil head contractor is one of Victoria's prominent civil construction contractors. They are currently experiencing significant growth and have a healthy pipeline of projects on the horizon. Based in inner city Melbourne with projects predominantly in North-western Melbourne, this contractor primarily focuses on Residential/Industrial Subdivisions, Infrastructure and structural works and wetland developments.
**The Position**:
The Site Supervisor is a key management role within the company, with the responsibility of ensuring the safe and successful delivery of assigned projects. By focussing on the effective and efficient coordination of all internal and external human resources, plant and materials, the Supervisor will deliver projects which meet timelines, quality, and budget obligations. By always striving for mínimal rework and maximum safety and efficiency, the Supervisor will increase value to our clients and our company.
**About you**:
- Minimum of two 2 years' experience in civil construction environments in a Supervisory role.
- Australian experience civil construction industry, with residential and subdivision exposure
- Completion of Cert IV in Civil Construction Supervision
- Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and ability to get the best out of the team
- Have the ability to assess risks and manage hazards and environmental aspects.
- Possess a high degree of technical understanding, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive, can-do attitude, is self-motivated and displays initiative
**Additional Competencies/tickets**:
- VEDN Modules 1 & 4 ( VEDN Underground Electrical Infrastructure Module 1 & VEDN Worksite Auditor Module 4)
- Enter & Work in Confined Spaces (complete hazard identification, risk assessments and entry permits for confined space operations)
- Trench Safety Awareness (Understand hazards associated with trench work and excavations in the work environment)
- Melbourne Water Green Card
