We're looking for a passionate and driven Gastronomy Designation Officer to help bring this global title to life. In this dynamic role, you'll coordinate exciting programs and events, work closely with local businesses and community groups, and build strong partnerships across Tasmania and beyond.
You'll play a key role in promoting Launceston as a leading food city — supporting local industry, championing sustainable practices, and creating initiatives that build community pride and economic opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the delivery of initiatives linked to Launceston's UNESCO City of Gastronomy designation.
* Building and maintaining strong partnerships across government, industry and community.
* Coordinating and delivering gastronomy-related programs and events.
* Monitoring and reporting on outcomes and achievements.
* Providing support and advice to stakeholders involved in gastronomy initiatives.
About You
We are looking for someone who demonstrates, through behaviour, an alignment and an understanding of Our Values and has the following qualifications, skills and experience:
* Sound planning, organisational, project management and collaboration skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships which influence and broker partnerships.
* Skills in managing time, setting priorities, planning and organising one's own work to achieve specific and set objectives in the most efficient way possible.
* Relevant qualification and/or experience relevant to the role.
