Site Engineer
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our construction team at the Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project in Far North Queensland.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering key concrete structures, working on a 14/7 FIFO roster. This is a unique opportunity to gain major project experience while contributing to Australia's clean energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and executing self-perform FRP works across civil structures.
* Support the preparation of work packs, construction lots, and temporary works documentation.
* Monitor and report on progress, material usage, and quality control activities.
* Work closely with Project Engineers and Supervisors to implement construction solutions on site.
* Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met during all site activities.
About You
You're a practical, site-focused engineer with strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude. You enjoy working in a collaborative team and are eager to gain experience on high-impact infrastructure projects.
Requirements
* A recognised degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* A White Card and valid Australian driver's licence.
* Some experience (or strong exposure) to FRP activities in civil construction.
* A solid understanding of construction site operations and safety requirements.
* Willingness to work a remote FIFO roster (14/7) and contribute positively to a project team.
