Are you looking to make a meaningful impact with your skills? We are looking for skilled and experienced volunteers to support the work of our Digital Engagement Team at PositiveMedia, particularly in Video Editing. Join our team of volunteers and use your expertise to empower our community
PositiveMedia is the home of TheLight, a community radio station operating in Melbourne to serve the Christian community and those interested in spirituality. We aim to see every life alight with the love of Jesus and we communicate content that transforms lives through improving the personal, community and spiritual wellness of our audience.
We are looking for volunteers who love TheLight, have a heart to see the love of Jesus transform lives across Melbourne. You'll work across two of our podcast products, collaborating with producers, hosts and the content team.
If you have:
* Podcast editing experience with sample works of high-quality audio and video content.
* Proven expertise in editing longform video content for platforms like YouTube.
* Proficiency in tools like Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, and Riverside (or similar software).
* Strong understanding of audio engineering principles, including balancing, equalising, and noise reduction.
* Familiarity with YouTube's longform content best practices, including viewer retention strategies.
* Have availability for up to 15 hours per week (or a role share of 7 hours each across 2 volunteers)
