Collaborating closely with the wider team and under the direction of the CHPP Manager, you'll supervise daily operations to meet commercial standards safely.

What does this role involve?
* Embed a safety-first culture where all employees are empowered through setting and maintaining clear safety standards.
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
* Resolve operational and maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve the operation and the condition of site equipment and machinery.
* Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost effective operations.
* Planning and coordinating activities at site, including supporting the maintenance and operational areas.
* Build capability through coaching, mentoring and providing technical advice to the site team.
* Timely data collation, analysis and sharing of key work management metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities for production, quality control, maintenance and operational nonconformities.
What are we looking for in our future team member?
* Trade certificate or degree qualified (engineering) working in the minerals process industry.
* Proven experience in a maintenance leaderships role, preferably as a Superintendent or similar.
* Ability to manage budgets and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
* A strong safety focus and excellent leadership, project management, time management and negotiation skills.
