We are looking for experienced App Modernization Consultants to support application transformation initiatives. The ideal candidates will have strong hands‐on experience in modern Java‐based development, database technologies, testing frameworks, and cloud environments, particularly AWS.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications using Java‐based technologies
* Work on application migration and modernization initiatives across platforms
* Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java (8+), Hibernate, and relational databases
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to define, design, and deliver high‐quality solutions
* Write and maintain BDD/acceptance tests, end‐to‐end tests, and unit tests
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
* Support deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in Java (8 or above), Oracle, and Hibernate
* Hands‐on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL/Aurora and SQL Server
* Experience in at least one of the following testing areas:
* Acceptance Testing: Cucumber, Gherkin or similar
* End‐to‐End Testing: Playwright or similar
* Unit Testing: JUnit or similar
* Good understanding of BDD (Behavior Driven Development) practices
* Working knowledge of AWS Cloud services
* Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
