Role
Wheelers Hill - Senior Campus
Reporting directly to the Office Manager and working closely with campus staff, the Receptionist will ensure that the first impressions gained by current and potential parents and other visitors to the School are favourable by creating a welcoming and efficient working presence. The Receptionist will contribute to the efficient running of the Campus Office including customer service, word processing, clerical and general office duties.
This is a permanent, part-time opportunity of up to 20 hours based at our Wheelers Hill Campus, forming a key part of our administration team. The role is a job share arrangement and includes school holiday periods.
Key Duties
Be the first point of contact, both in person and over the phone, for parents and visitors to Reception and ensure that all interactions are warm and friendly and to a professional standard
Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including database management, preparation of campus communications and mail distribution
Provide exceptional customer service, show great attention to detail and have a continuous improvement focus
Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
Skills and Experience
Administrative/reception experience with exceptional customer service focus
Previous experience in an educational setting will be highly regarded
Highly motivated with good communication skills
Intermediate to high computer skills with a willingness to learn new systems
Level 1 First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis Management Certification or be prepared to obtain these
Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check
