Job Description
We are seeking a Client Services Officer to deliver exceptional customer service in our Environmental laboratory. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch and effectively managing customer expectations.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
1. Communicate directly with clients to resolve any sample receipt or logistics issues as required.
2. Communicate effectively with the relevant section heads of impending samples for production
3. Discuss result status and turnarounds with clients when required.
4. Ensure all client requests are passed onto the relevant laboratory department bottle orders to sample administration.
5. Assist the lab team during busy periods.
6. Prepare Quotations where required and assist with preparing and sending Invoices.
7. Assist with setting up client accounts.
8. Report on client satisfaction to management.
9. Assist management in process improvements.
10. Assist management in promoting a safe working environment and report immediately on any unsafe work condition or equipment to the supervisor.
11. Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the section and to ensure the expected outputs are performed within budget.
Qualifications
12. Scientific qualifications (Diploma or Tertiary) or extensive experience in laboratory environments
13. Experience using a LIMS
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
