Located 38 kilometres south of Mackay, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd operates with a name plate capacity of 85 million tonnes per annum, exporting coal from Central Queensland to ports around the world. This wouldn't be possible without great people - people just like you.
We are pleased to offer an exceptional opportunity within our Asset Management division for a highly motivated and experienced Management Accountant. This role presents the chance to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic team, drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced and impactful environment.
The Successful Candidate Will
* Lead comprehensive financial and cost accounting operations, ensuring alignment with organizational budgets and contractual requirements.
* Own the DBCT P/L 5-Year Plan: maintain and manage all maintenance and capital project listings
* Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory and legislative frameworks—zero tolerance for risk exposure
* Deliver high-impact business analysis and forecasting to meet organisation and statutory targets
* Produce monthly cost reports for seamless integration into corporate reporting
* Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting across capital, inventory, and operating spend
* Spearhead Asset Management's annual business plan budgeting and shape the 5-year financial roadmap
* Support Commercial Services in delivering smooth, audit-ready financials
* Develop and refine SOPs for budget reviews, data collation, and performance tracking
The following attributes will be held in high regard for this role:
* 10+ years or significant experience in business Accounting
* Tertiary qualifications preferably in finance
* Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
