Our origins are in Gippsland regional Victoria, but we have grown rapidly in recent years. Our services include general practice (GP); nursing; allied health; dental; counselling and psychology; gambling support; alcohol and drug treatment; migrant and refugee settlement services; social connection; carer support services and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in partnership with the NDIA.
What you’ll be doing in this role We are seeking a motivated Grade 3 Podiatrist to join our team. If you have a passion to improve the health of our community, strong leadership qualities and experience, we want to hear from you. LCHS has a busy Podiatry service and you will find job satisfaction with our diverse client base.
Due to the collaborative nature of the service, this role provides the successful candidate the opportunity to work across both community and acute hospital settings to support the High Risk Foot Service and improve diabetes-related foot disease outcomes for the region.
At LCHS Podiatry service you can walk into full clinic days, with high demand for services readily available. Our integrated service model will continually expose you to other health professionals, and you’ll provide your podiatry expertise as part of a holistic solution for patients.
As an IPHS Podiatrist you will be supported by and report to a Team Leader as well as the Manager of Integrated Primary Health Service.
Your Work Will Include
The opportunity to be involved in a collaborative high risk foot service between Latrobe Community Health Service and Latrobe Regional Health.
Exposure to more learning opportunities to enhance your career, while gaining deep satisfaction from witnessing the results of your talents and effort in your patients.
Provide services in 1:1 consults, multidisciplinary clinic settings and groups to a wide range of clients where opportunities for quality improvement and collaboration is encouraged.
Be a senior member of the team to provide supervision and guidance through well developed leadership skills.
What We’re Looking For
Victorian driver’s licence
Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
Current AHPRA Registration
Bachelor’s degree in Podiatry
Current first aid and CPR certificate
