The Talent Attraction Unit, situated within the Organisational Development Branch, is responsible for building effective, diverse, and sustainable talent pipelines that support SAPOL’s strategic workforce priorities. The unit applies a holistic and inclusive approach to talent attraction; generating awareness, building consideration, and fostering intent through three integrated portfolios: Events and Partnerships, Recruitment Marketing, and School Pathways and Engagement. Activity driven by the unit is strategically aligned with organisational goals and delivered using innovative, contemporary methods that resonate with key demographic segments. The unit is committed to future‑focused initiatives that reflect best practice in attracting top talent and engagement methods.
The Recruitment Marketing Lead is responsible for driving the strategic development, implementation and evaluation of recruitment marketing initiatives that support workforce attraction across key demographics. This role leads the creation of inclusive, targeted recruitment marketing campaigns in partnership with DPC Advertising and Insights Hub, digital communications and collateral that reflect SAPOL’s employer brand and promote career opportunities across digital and traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategic recruitment marketing initiatives to attract talent across diverse demographics.
- Create inclusive, targeted recruitment marketing campaigns in partnership with DPC Advertising and Insights Hub.
- Collaborate with SAPOL Communication and Engagement Branch, Marketing and Communications, Talent Acquisition, State Operations Service, and Metropolitan Operations Services to deliver innovative and inclusive workforce attraction initiatives.
- Manage a small team and coordinate across portfolio functions to align outreach, education and partnership activities.
- Measure and evaluate the performance of recruitment marketing campaigns and report insights to senior leadership.
Special Conditions
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage programme.
Compensation
ASO7 – $108,109 – $116,864 per annum.
