Liebherr Australia is looking for a results-oriented leader to join our team. As Inventory Manager you will oversee all aspects of inventory management to ensure stock levels are optimised and timely fulfilment of customer orders can be achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient stock control.
Monitor inventory levels, track key metrics and analyse data to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
Lead, mentor and manage a team of inventory specialists to achieve departmental goals and maintain high performance.
Work closely with procurement, warehouse and distribution teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and timely order fulfilment.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce costs and improve overall efficiency.
Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, stock levels and other key metrics to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations and safety standards related to inventory management.
Have a strong commitment to a safe work environment and continuous improvement.
Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics and demonstrated experience in inventory management within a similar industry.
Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.
Excellent knowledge of and application of inventory management principles.
Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g. Baan SAP ERP systems) and advanced knowledge of Excel.
Desirable Requirements
Exposure to BAAN IV ERP system.
Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of co-workers.
