We're on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at Gisborne food and wine co, proudly serving the community.
As Chef, you'll work closely with our Head Chef to run the day-to-day kitchen operations and help deliver great food and memorable dining experiences for our guests. This is a full-time role based in Gisborne, 3437
What you'll be doing
* Supporting the Head Chef with menu planning, recipe development and food cost management
* Overseeing prep, cooking and plating to make sure every dish hits the mark
* Maintaining top-notch food safety and hygiene standards
* Leading and mentoring the kitchen team, helping them grow and stay motivated
* Working closely with the Front of House team to keep service smooth
* Always looking for ways to improve how we work and lift the overall standard

Pay: $24.95 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
