Are you a driven and experienced dental professional ready to step into a leadership role? We are seeking a Dental 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to join our dynamic team in a state-of-the-art 12-chair clinic offering a full scope of dental services—including General Anaesthetic theatres and a fully equipped Dental Implant Centre.
As our 2IC, you’ll work closely with the Practice Manager and Team leaders to help oversee the daily operations, support our growing clinical team, and ensure the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior dental nurse, treatment coordinator, or practice team leader who is looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll play a key role in:
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic
- Providing leadership, mentoring and guidance to a large clinical team
- Coordinating patient flow, staff rosters and surgery schedules
- Assisting with clinical compliance, infection control and accreditation processes
- Acting as a point of contact for patient care escalation or team support
- Working alongside specialists and general dentists in a multidisciplinary environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in dental (senior nursing, TC or coordinator level preferred)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with surgical procedures, GA environments and implant dentistry
- A calm, professional, and team-oriented approach
- Current Working with Children Check and relevant clearances
