Ozroll is a long-established Australian manufacturer and supplier, operating since 1999 with headquarters in Adelaide. Our Queensland operation was established in 2015 and has since grown into a critical part of our national footprint.
Over the past few years, the Stapylton site has been significantly invested in and is now a modern, multi-product manufacturing and distribution hub, including:
* A state-of-the-art plantation shutter manufacturing facility
* A fully equipped outdoor blind and awning production area, established in the last 12 months and now operating at full capacity
* A long-standing louvre product line with over 40 years of proven success
* A newly established import and distribution program, bringing in selected finished products from overseas to complement our locally manufactured range
We supply customers nationally and continue to grow across multiple product categories.
The opportunity
We are seeking an Inventory & Logistics Officer who is more than just a stock controller.
This role is for someone who wants to own the warehouse and inventory function, bring structure and discipline to systems and processes, and play a key leadership role within the Queensland operation. For the right person, this role offers genuine long-term career progression, with exposure to senior decision-making and the opportunity to grow into broader operational leadership.
Key responsibilities
This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for the effective management of inventory, warehousing, and logistics across a national supply chain.
Key responsibilities include:
* Full ownership of inventory control, accuracy, stock levels, and stock movements
* Warehouse layout, racking and bay configuration, space optimisation, and workflow efficiency
* Coordination of inbound and outbound logistics, including national road freight
* Management of imports, including liaison with overseas suppliers, sea freight, customs clearance, and delivery scheduling
* Oversight of receipting, dispatch, picking, packing, and stock integrity
* Maintaining and improving ERP system accuracy and data integrity
* Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite for reporting, analysis, and planning
* Working closely with production, sales, and leadership teams to support service levels and growth
* Leading warehouse staff, including day-to-day supervision, task allocation, training, and basic HR responsibilities
* Driving continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and operational standards
About you
You'll be practical, organised, commercially minded, and comfortable taking responsibility.
You will ideally bring:
* Proven experience or education in inventory, warehouse, and logistics management
* Experience or education dealing with overseas suppliers, imports, sea freight, and customs processes
* Strong understanding of national road freight within Australia
* Solid experience or education using ERP systems
* High-level Excel skills and confidence across the Microsoft Office suite
* A structured approach to inventory systems, stock accuracy, and warehouse layout
* Leadership capability and the confidence to influence and improve how things are done
* A long-term mindset and interest in career progression within a growing business
