The Playford Hotel, part of the Accor MGallery Collection, is a 5-star boutique property offering exceptional luxury in the heart of Adelaide. We are currently seeking a skilled and data-driven Marketing Specialist (Revenue Manager) to join our commercial team and support the hotel's strategic growth and brand performance.
The Role
This position plays a pivotal role in driving room revenue, brand visibility and customer engagement across all channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing advertising and promotional campaigns, analysing market data, optimising pricing and segmentation strategies, and managing digital content across key platforms.
Summary Job Description:
· Plan and implement promotional and tactical campaigns to maximise revenue through pricing, segmentation and channel visibility.
· Advise senior managers on promotional strategies and campaign performance; present insights to guide business decisions.
· Coordinate campaign delivery and ensure brand-aligned presentation across all distribution channels including GDS, Fidelio and third-party websites.
· Analyse market conditions, pace trends and competitor data to identify yield opportunities and inform strategic rate setting.
· Contribute to the annual business plan and budget by aligning marketing objectives with commercial growth targets.
· Undertake competitor and market research using STR, Accor reporting tools, and local intelligence to identify opportunities and inform promotions.
· Recommend product packaging, pricing structures and distribution strategies to maximise yield across key segments.
· Manage hotel content across digital platforms and ensure timely publication of rates, offers and promotions.
· Use tools such as Easy RMS and STR to model revenue outcomes and forecast the impact of pricing and promotional initiatives.
· Prepare weekly and monthly reports tracking revenue, performance and forecasting accuracy for internal stakeholders.
· Analyse data from Accor systems, RMS and campaign platforms to evaluate return on marketing investment and guide strategy.
· Review and update online content to ensure alignment with SEO, brand standards and rate parity obligations.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· At least 2 years of experience in marketing, revenue, or commercial strategy within a hotel or tourism environment.
· Relevant Bachelor's level qualifications.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to convert data into actionable insights.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Knowledge of SEO principles and digital publishing best practices.
· Desired: demonstrated experience with systems such as Opera, RMS, STR, Accor platforms, and digital analytics tools.
