Safe facility maintainer - residential roster

Job Overview

This role will involve providing a safe and efficient facility through the execution of planned maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs and opportune maintenance. You will be part of a friendly and high performing team supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team.

A family and lifestyle friendly 7/7 day shift roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life. Working a residential roster and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role will require you to:

* Complete preventative/corrective/breakdown/operational maintenance for all equipment in the fixed plant area, including but not limited to, conveyors, Motor/gearbox shaft alignment, axial flow and centrifugal pumps.
* Conduct routine inspections of fixed plant assets including automatic lubrication systems and determine repair action when required.
* Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with company policies and procedures.
* Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects by increasing safety whilst reducing risk and cost
* Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification.
* Isolate equipment for maintenance and operational tasks.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and within a small team environment, utilising good communication skills and liaising with contractors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Care, courage and curiosity.
* A Mechanical Engineering/Fitting Trade Qualification.
* A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
* Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset.
* The ability to work autonomously and within a small team environment.
* Good communication skills and liaison with contractors.
* Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift, Confined Space qualifications.
* A Manual C-class Australian driver's licence (HR desirable).
