Chef Alvin and his team acknowledge this history and craft a menu that celebrates and explores classic dishes – with a Tasmanian twist. Reimagined and refined, this menu nods to Hobart's past while championing our celebrated produce and boutique Tasmanian growers.
A Day in the Life
As a full-time Chef De Partie, you'll be responsible for crafting a variety of dishes using Tasmania's finest produce and freshest local ingredients, working alongside a talented and diverse team to deliver high-quality plates that delight our guests and create a memorable dining experience.
You will bring your expertise to the role, having a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar position, with proven experience working on grill and pan sections. Your eye for detail and strong time management skills, combined with your genuine enthusiasm for contemporary cooking, will enable you to provide exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.
We are looking for someone who has a qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent and is available to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays between the hours of 3pm-11pm.
