This larger national business has a strong foothold in the Australian wealth and investment sector. They offer a compelling and well-regarded investment platform service, which peers are attempting to replicate. This is a wholesale-only service. They are now seeking a senior investment advisor to manage existing clients, handle new referrals, and engage in business development activities to a lesser extent.
The Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Southern Region Manager, you will work within a team of investment, wealth, and finance consultants. Your responsibilities include accepting referrals from these advisors, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing ongoing service. You will attend networking and industry events, with occasional travel involved. Since clients are sophisticated or wholesale, building relationships and providing guidance are essential. You will not be required to transfer an existing client book, although welcoming new clients is encouraged.
Your Experience and Skills
You are an experienced investment advisor, or perhaps a financial advisor with a passion for investment and portfolio management. Alternatively, you may have worked with private clients or at a stockbroking firm. Confidence with HNW or Ultra HNW clients, along with strong communication skills, is important.
