Lead Video Advertising Operations Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned Video Advertising Operations Specialist to join our global team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the video ad operations, ensuring seamless campaign execution and maximum ROI.
About the Role
* Develop and execute strategic plans for video advertising infrastructure and technology adoption.
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy and optimize video ad platforms.
* Manage campaign support escalations and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Identify business requirements and recommend workflow enhancements to improve efficiency.
* Negotiate vendor partnerships for Ad Server, DAI, and SSPs, as well as third-party tools for data exchanges.
* Apply ad pod optimization techniques, including collapsing, break buffet, and waterfall, to maximize fill rate and revenue from video inventory.
* Develop performance reporting using video and ad server data to showcase campaign success and technical insights.
* Resolve discrepancies, delivery issues, or creative malfunctions and identify opportunities to target.
* Configure ad units, orders, line items, and targeting parameters for successful campaign setup and trafficking.
* Manage ad inventory, work with programmatic integrations, and ensure yield management.
Requirements and Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in digital video advertising operations, preferably with senior leadership roles.
* Proven understanding of video advertising ecosystems, including VAST/OpenRTB for LIVE, and demonstrated expertise in optimizing ad pod serving in CTV, programmatic, and sponsorship models.
* Proven track record of building and scaling ad technology used by high-performing ad sales teams, leveraging relationships with media agencies, trading desks, and brand advertisers globally.
* Expert-level knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, and ad servers.
* Exceptional leadership skills, inspiring, motivating, and mentoring diverse, globally distributed teams.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strategic mindset and a strong bias toward execution.
