About This Role
As a Radio Technician, you'll play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction by supervising and coordinating workshop activities within the service center.
You'll be responsible for motivating staff, improving technician/installer productivity, and yields, and will have opportunities to build a career with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assign work among technical/installation staff
- Review equipment resources and recommend action to maintain service operations
- Control customer equipment, service equipment, and inventory within the service center
- Direct the modification, repair, and installation of complex systems parts and accessories
- Establish communications with engineering
- Analyze technical problems using test equipment to diagnose and repair customer equipment
- Develop radio profiles/code plugs and provide customer support
- Perform various tasks to modify, repair, install, and ship equipment as necessary
- Provide interstate assistance where needed
Requirements
- A certificate in electrical-related fields
- Experience with commercial two-way radio environments is desired but not required
