Our Geelong Business Advisory team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a close-knit, high-performing team. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns, supporting clients with complex tax matters, and guiding junior team members through their development.

Job Requirements
As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for:Collaborate with the client manager to manage a portfolio across a diverse range of industriesApply your technical knowledge to prepare complex special purpose reports, financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trustsPrepare monthly management reports, cash flow statements, and clear, logical working papersDevelop and manage client budgets and forecastsAssist with consulting work, including the provision of tailored tax adviceReview and provide quality feedback on junior team members' work, supporting their growth through coaching and delegation
Job Responsibilities
Our ideal new team member has:A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent degreeCompleted CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualificationMinimum 3 years' experience in accounting, ideally within public practiceExperience working with medium to large businesses and multi-entity structuresStrong written and verbal communication skillsMotivation to grow professionally and contribute to team developmentA genuine interest in mentoring and upskilling junior team membersAbility to develop trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues
