About The Role
As Contracts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the project’s commercial success. Based in Brisbane with monthly site travel, or alternatively site-based on a 2/1 roster with a 20% uplift, you’ll work closely with project leaders to drive commercial and contract strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the financial and contractual activities of the project
- Partnering with the Project Manager/Director to develop and execute the commercial strategy
- Mentoring and supporting site-based Contract Administration staff
- Planning and delivering training to strengthen project commercial outcomes
- Taking ownership of all commercial activities critical to project success
About You
You Are An Experienced, Commercially Astute Professional With
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accountancy, Law, Quantity Surveying, or substantial senior contracts experience
- Strong background in a Contracts/Commercial Manager role within civil engineering or infrastructure
- Deep knowledge of contract and subcontract models
- Expertise in forecasting, financial reviews, and commercial risk management
- Proven negotiation skills and experience in dispute resolution
