Food Technologist – Sauces & Dry Ingredient Blends | Central Coast, NSW

We're seeking a passionate and technically skilled
Food Technologist
to play a key role across both product development and quality assurance. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on variety — from concept creation and lab trials to ensuring every batch leaving our site meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
What you'll do:
* Lead new product development across sauces, marinades, and dry blends — from formulation through to factory trials and commercial scale-up
* Conduct sensory evaluations, recipe optimisation, and specification preparation (PIF, CoOL, NIP)
* Support QA systems and compliance, including HACCP, SQF, and FSANZ requirements
* Perform daily quality checks, micro and environmental testing coordination, and allergen management
* Manage supplier and customer NCRs and corrective actions
* Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Operations to ensure smooth product launches and consistent quality outcomes
What you bring:
* Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
* 3–5+ years' experience in QA and/or NPD within food manufacturing (sauces or seasonings advantageous)
* Strong understanding of food safety standards, FSANZ, HACCP, and GMP
* Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for food innovation
