Croff Bakehouse is hiring a Full time Pastry Chef role in West Leederville, WA. Apply now to be part of our team.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate pastry cook to join our croissant bakehouse team. As a pastry cook, you will be responsible for producing high-quality croissants and other pastries, contributing to the success of our bakehouse through your expertise and dedication to the craft.

* 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and bake a variety of croissants and pastries according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure the quality and consistency of all baked goods, paying close attention to detail.
* Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to plan production schedules and manage inventory.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
* Contribute to the development of new pastry recipes and menu items, staying updated on industry trends and customer preferences.
* Actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance baking skills and knowledge.
* Assist with the packaging and presentation of baked goods for retail and wholesale distribution.
* Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a pastry cook or baker, with a focus on laminated doughs and traditional pastry techniques.
* Strong knowledge of baking ingredients, equipment, and techniques, with an emphasis on croissant production.
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-volume production setting, while maintaining quality and consistency.
* Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards, with a commitment to upholding these practices in the workplace.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse team members.
