About the Role
As a Coal Processing Technician at Goonyella Riverside Mine, you will be responsible for operating the coal processing plant, train loadout and ROMs. You will work cooperatively within a team to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with site procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum 'C' Class Driver's licence
* Demonstrated commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace
* Demonstrated experience in a Coal Processing Plant
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to effectively integrate into new teams and focus on teamwork
* A continuous improvement mindset and aptitude to learn and acquire new digital and technological skills
* Willingness to proactively contribute ideas to solve problems and improve existing processes and tools.
