Tecside is currently seeking a Manual Machinist or Mechanical Fitter to join our client's modern and well-equipped workshop based in Wangara (NOR). This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded tradesperson looking for stable, ongoing work with a reputable engineering and pump manufacturing business servicing the mining sector.
Role
Working as part of a skilled team of fitters and machinists, your responsibilities will include:
* Operating a variety of manual machines including lathes, milling machines, slotters and drill presses.
* Machining and manufacturing components from technical drawings to high standards.
* Performing pump fitting, pump maintenance and pump assembly tasks for mining applications.
* Maintaining a safe, reliable and positive work environment at all times.
What We're Looking For
* Australian‑recognised trade certificate in fitting & machining (essential).
* Strong manual machining experience.
* Mechanically minded with good attention to detail.
* Pump experience highly desirable.
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
