This role transforms Australia's digital landscape as a Customer Field Technician.
About the Role:
You will play a vital part in working on Customer Service field tasks across all nbn technologies, located in Gladstone. This is an autonomous position where you will be responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services. You'll work in various environments, predominantly inside customers' premises.
Your typical day may include cabling installation, customer premises installation of nbn equipment, fault diagnosis and repair of nbn networks and equipment. These roles work between 7am to 7pm based on business needs.
About You:
We're looking for experienced candidates or those with transferable skills from communication cabling or electrical backgrounds who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector.
A key aspect of this role is working with customers, so it's essential you have excellent customer service skills, honesty, integrity and self-management.
Requirements:
* Certified Cabling Installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing
* Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) installation
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
