About the Role: As a Maintenance Officer, you'll oversee all maintenance and grounds operations across our residential site. You'll ensure facilities and outdoor areas are safe, functional, and visually appealing for residents, staff, and visitors. This hands-on role includes general repairs, landscaping, compliance, and coordination with contractors and suppliers.
What You'll Do:
 * Conduct regular inspections and perform general repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting).
 * Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas to a high standard.
 * Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergencies.
 * Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.
 * Manage tools, supplies, and contractor relationships.
 * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in emergency procedures.
 * Support event setup and room preparation for residents and activities.
 * Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
 * Practical experience in property maintenance, landscaping, and groundskeeping.
 * Ability to operate and maintain equipment (e.g. lawnmowers, trimmers, chainsaws).
 * Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
 * Commitment to safety, quality, and presentation standards.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements:
 * Queensland Driver's Licence.
 * Completion of relevant trade or certificate-level training (e.g. carpentry, horticulture).
 * Police Check
 * Pre-employment medical assessment.
