ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Pavement Manager to join a leading civil contractor in Northern NSW. This role will oversee a significant pavements business and play a key part in driving operational success and growth.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide leadership across pavement operations, including both asphalt and spray seal divisions.
* Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met.
* Oversee production and laying operations within the pavements business.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
* Drive business performance, including financial management and operational improvements.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and supervisors.
Requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* 10+ years of experience in pavement operations or civil construction management.
* Strong leadership background managing large teams and complex operations.
* Proven experience in both asphalt and spray seal works.
* Solid financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Competitive salary package: $180K–$210K + super (negotiable based on experience).
