About the role & Company We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to lead core financial operations and contribute to strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting skills and a passion for continuous improvement. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, payroll, compliance, and risk governance, while supporting the broader finance team and senior leadership. This is a key role with influence across the organisation, offering both operational and strategic scope. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial reports, payroll, and statutory returns (BAS, PAYG, payroll tax); Maintain and reconcile general ledger, fixed assets, and stock records; Support budgeting, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation; Enhance financial systems and processes for improved efficiency; Contribute to risk management and internal audit activities; Collaborate with teams and mentor junior finance staff; Communicate financial insights to stakeholders and support decision-making; Liaise with external accountants for annual reporting and FBT submissions; Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations. About the Successful Candidate Demonstrates intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. Possesses a comprehensive understanding of accounting standards. Qualified as a CA or CPA with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience. Exhibits excellent analytical skills and the ability to formulate and present detailed reports. Demonstrates strong organizational and time management acumen. Effective oral and written communication skills, adept at tactful negotiation and problem resolution. Leadership experience.
