**Job Description:**
As a senior web developer, you will have the opportunity to take on a unique role that combines your expertise in Shopify and React. You will be responsible for leading full-cycle Shopify builds, from scoping and development to delivery. This includes managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations, as well as delivering pixel-perfect builds that perform and convert.
You will also contribute frontend expertise to sophisticated React-based applications as part of cross-functional teams. This involves collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to build high-quality React components for complex web apps.
Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing SEO best practices across both platforms, optimizing Core Web Vitals and page performance, and configuring tracking tools such as GA and Search Console. You will ensure code is clean, semantic, and production-ready, and identify opportunities for upsell and optimisation in Shopify projects.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* 3+ years advanced Shopify development experience, including end-to-end project ownership from client consultation through to delivery
* Advanced React development capabilities, collaborating on large-scale applications
* Strong understanding of technical SEO and optimisation strategies
* Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to pixel-perfect frontend execution
* Commercial mindset – able to align technical recommendations with business goals
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both client-facing and technical
