**The role**
The Project Officer will support the Major Infrastructure Projects team in planning, designing, tendering, supervising, constructing, commissioning, and ensuring the successful operation of major infrastructure projects within the Assets Department.
This includes providing technical expertise, supervision of works, and support in the tendering, construction, and cost control of various major projects.
**What you'll bring**
- At least 5 years' experience in infrastructure project delivery.
- Strong skills in construction supervision, contract management and commissioning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets and risks.
- Proven technical report writing and communication skills.
- Experience with risk management, safety standards and contractor compliance.
