Early Childhood Professional Learning Facilitators (2 roles)
Expression of Interest – subject to successful contract award
About the opportunity
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Early Childhood professionals to support a proposed Provisionally Registered Early Childhood Teacher Mentoring Program in South Australia.
Facilitators will contribute to the design of professional development resources and facilitate professional learning sessions and Communities of Practice for provisionally registered teachers and experienced mentors.
This is an expression of interest only. Engagement is contingent on successful contract award and final program design.
The role
Facilitators will play a key role in supporting early career teachers to build capability, confidence, and evidence required for progression to full registration.
The role is expected to include:
* Contribute to the design and refinement of professional development resources
* Facilitate group professional learning sessions (online and/or face‐to‐face)
* Facilitate Communities of Practice for provisionally registered teachers and mentors
* Support reflective practice, peer learning, and professional dialogue
* Apply mentoring, coaching, and adult learning approaches aligned to sector best practice
* Part‐time, sessional, or consultancy basis (indicative)
* Scope, hours, and duration to be confirmed following contract award
* Two facilitator roles are anticipated
Requirements
About you
You will bring:
* Early Childhood Teacher qualification with full registration (current or previous)
* Experience in mentoring, coaching, and/or professional learning facilitation
* Confidence facilitating group sessions and professional conversations
* Experience supporting early career teachers (highly desirable)
* Strong understanding of AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
* National Quality Standard (NQS)
* Teacher registration and evidence requirements
