Mercer Helpline – Customer Service Agent

Role starts early-to-mid February.
2 weeks paid training provided.
Permanent and fixed-term contracts available until July ****.
37.5 hours per week with a rota Monday to Friday between 7am-8pm.
No weekends.
Hybrid role – work in the Melbourne office at least three days per week.
What you will do
Provide exceptional customer service and general advice to members regarding their superannuation across many funds we administer.
Build strong relationships of trust with members and internal colleagues while achieving KPI focus on call quality and customer experience.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records in the system.
Collaborate with teams to continuously improve processes and share best practices.
What you need to have
Customer focused mindset.
Strong conversational skills – active listening, empathy, respect, and humour.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Excellent written and professional verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with an aptitude to learn and develop – we provide tools and support for success.
What makes you stand out
Experience in superannuation, financial services and/or a fast-paced contact centre highly regarded.
Experience working in a call centre environment is an advantage – we support entry level candidates from other sectors.
