Job Title: Operational Compliance Specialist
About the Position
The Department of Water, Sewerage & Gas is seeking a highly skilled Operational Compliance Specialist to provide technical support and ensure compliance for all operational, maintenance and capital works within the department. This role will involve oversight of laboratory operations and compliance reporting for Water, Sewerage & Gas.
Key Responsibilities
* Compliance and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational activities, including laboratory results.
* Laboratory Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring quality control and assurance processes are followed.
* Team Leadership & Technical Support: Provide guidance and support to team members on technical matters related to water treatment plant operations.
* Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
* Project Planning & Delivery: Develop project plans for capital works projects related to water treatment plants.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, possess knowledge of relevant legislation governing wastewater treatment systems.
