About the role As a Service Technician, you’ll get hands-on with a variety of restoration equipment from carpet cleaners to dehumidifiers tackling both mechanical and light electrical work. This is a steady, full-time role with no overtime, a competitive salary, and the chance to grow your skills in a supportive workshop environment. Duties Servicing, maintaining, and repairing carpet cleaning machines, dehumidifiers, air movers, and related restoration equipment Performing fault-finding, diagnostics, and basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting Handling restricted electrical work such as replacing motors, control panels, and carrying out basic electrical testing Carrying out appliance repairs and mechanical tasks, taking equipment apart and reassembling as needed Assembling and testing equipment before dispatch Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair activities Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment Collaborating with customers to ensure they get the most from their equipment Working closely with an experienced senior mechanic and supporting day-to-day workshop operations.
