Casual Plant Operator - Kwinana Terminal, CBH Group, Cooloongup, Western Australia, Australia.
To support our harvest season, our Kwinana Grain Terminal is seeking team‑oriented and safety-minded Plant Operators on a casual basis. The role involves receiving, storing, loading, and moving grain in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
Our operations run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with opportunities to work on weekdays, nights, or weekends. The Terminal is responsible for exporting WA grain to international destinations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure grain is received, handled and maintained within receival standards
- Ensure grain loaded on export vessels is correct, free of contaminants and within specifications
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene across the site
- Receive instructions for the collection, preparation, testing and storage of grain samples
- Maintain a safe working area for all employees and customers
Qualifications and qualities
- Enthusiastic, reliable, hands-on and enjoys working outdoors

- Commitment to working safely and contributing to a safe work environment
- Ability to work in a team and have strong communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Willingness to undertake and acquire basic machinery skills and experience
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, use of compressed air lances and in areas of high grain dust concentration
- Desirable tickets: HR licence, front end loader ticket, confined space, working at heights
