Applications are invited for the position of Cement/ Lime Spreader Operator, based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The Cement/ Lime Spreader Operator is responsible for the satisfactory execution of cement/ lime spreading and stabilisation by a specialist truck for construction and/ or maintenance programs undertaken by the Civil Engineering Branch.

Applicants should address the following Selection Criteria:
Essential Criteria:
* NSW School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement or equivalent;
* Satisfactory formal training in truck operations, or suitable experience;
* Satisfactory formal training in cement/ lime spreading and stabilisation operations, or suitable experience in cement/ lime spreading and stabilisation operations.
* NSW Class HR Drivers Licence;
* Traffic Controller Certificate;
* SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('White Card'); and
* Work Safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker unit of competency.
Desirable Criteria:
* NSW Class HC Drivers Licence.
Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 4, Grade 7. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,190.10 to $1,281.53 gross per week. In addition, a Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $0.513 per hour will be paid where applicable.
