* Key Responsibilities
1. Client Liaison & Support
• Act as the primary point of contact for an allocated portfolio via phone, email and virtual meetings
• Anticipate ad hoc admin requests-data entry, document management or ad hoc reporting-to lighten clients' workloads
• Collaborate with internal advisors to propose process improvements or accounting system enhancements
2. Payroll Processing
• Administer end-to-end payroll (weekly/fortnightly/monthly) for varied industries
• Calculate gross/net wages, allowances, deductions and leave accruals
• Prepare and lodge superannuation payments on time, ensuring full compliance
• Complete Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting and manage year-end finalisations
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Generate, code and process supplier invoices; match purchase orders; schedule and execute payments
• Issue client invoices, chase aged debt with professionalism and maintain an accurate ageing report
• Reconcile supplier and customer statements, investigate variances and resolve discrepancies
4. Bank Reconciliations & Cashflow Management
• Reconcile multiple bank, credit card and loan accounts on a daily/weekly schedule
• Build and maintain cashflow forecasts, flagging shortfalls or surpluses to clients proactively
5. Process electronic bank payments, direct debits and transfers per client instructions
* Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years' hands-on bookkeeping in a practice or in-house environment
2. Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting (or equivalent) highly regarded
3. Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
4. Outstanding verbal and written communication; a client-first attitude and a polished professional presence
